The El Segundo Journal is a digital-first news site for El Segundo. We use current tools and keep the operation small. We cover what’s happening now and we treat the city’s history and traditions as part of the record.

Stories get checked by a person before they go out. We write about city government, schools, business, sports, public safety, real estate, and life in town. When we get something wrong we fix it.

We work with local people — students, residents, whoever wants to help — because the coverage is better when people who actually live here are involved.
